OFFICIAL RULES BOGOTÁ HALF MARATHON 2026 “mmB 2026”
ARTICLE 1
NAME
Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” is a race with two courses: a 21-kilometer route (21K), official distance 21,097 meters, and a 10-kilometer route (10K). Each route is different and is run at different times. The participants’ gathering area is the Events Plaza of Simón Bolívar Park, and the starts take place on Carrera 60 (westbound lanes) between Calle 63 and Calle 53.

ORGANIZER
The organizer of Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” is Correcaminos de Colombia.

ARTICLE 4
PARTICIPATION IN BOGOTÁ HALF MARATHON 2026 “mmB 2026”
Individuals over 18 years of age may participate in the 21K course, and individuals over 14 years of age may participate in the 10K course, provided they have previously completed the registration process, which includes acceptance of the 2026 “mmB 2026” Liability Waiver and Release and the Personal Data Processing authorization.
For registrants between 14 and 17 years of age, acceptance must be given by the minor and their parents or legal guardian.

COURSES
The courses of Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” (21K and 10K) may be consulted on the website www.mediamaratonbogota.com/en/home They may be subject to changes according to authorizations granted by the District Secretariat of Mobility.

ARTICLE 7
START OF THE COURSES
The gathering area for Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” is located at the Events Plaza of Simón Bolívar Park and will be open to participants (21K and 10K) from 5:30 a.m. Warm-up and preparation sessions will begin at 6:00 a.m., prior to entering the starting corrals.
ARTICLE 7.1.: 21K START
The 21K start is organized by estimated race time. To enter the starting corral, participants must identify the assigned corral number printed on the race bib. The corral number is assigned according to the estimated race time provided during registration.

ARTICLE 7.2.: 10K START
The 10K start is organized by estimated race time, following the same corral assignment procedure.

Corral 1 – 9:30 a.m.
Corral 2 – 9:38 a.m.
Corral 3 – 9:46 a.m.
Corral 4 – 9:54 a.m.
ARTICLE 8
REGISTRATION
Registration for Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” will be open from July 28, 2025, to July 25, 2026, and/or until all spots are filled.
Registration fees vary by phase:

- Registration must be completed online at: www.mediamaratonbogota.com
- Online registration is also available at Correcaminos de Colombia, Calle 86B No. 15–22, Office 301, Bogotá D.C.
- Registration will close once all available spots are filled, which may occur at any stage. All information provided must be complete and accurate. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances, except in cases of force majeure or fortuitous events as defined by law (Article 64 of the Colombian Civil Code).
- No changes may be made after registration is completed (course, corral, shirt size, name, etc.).
- Athletes registered as elites must be federated and must register exclusively through the Colombian Athletics Federation.
ARTICLE 9
RACE BIB AND KIT PICK-UP
Race bibs and participant kits will be distributed in person or to an authorized representative at Expomedia (Corferias) on Thursday, July 23; Friday, July 24; and Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Pick-up is mandatory. No bibs or kits will be distributed on race day.
Participants who cannot attend may authorize a third party, who must present an authorization letter and copies of identification documents.
The bib must be worn on the front of the official race shirt.
ARTICLE 10
FIRST AID AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE
On Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the event will provide first aid and medical assistance services with fully equipped ambulances, medical personnel, and defibrillators distributed throughout the start area, courses, and finish area.
Participants must act according to the principle of social solidarity and assist others if a participant’s health or life is at risk.
ARTICLE 11
OFFICIAL RESULTS
Official race results will be those reported by the Colombian Athletics Federation and will be the only valid results for awards.
ARTICLE 12
RANKINGS AND RESULTS
Results will be published four (4) hours after the race on www.mediamaratonbogota.com. Athletes have five (5) business days to submit claims.
ARTICLE 13
DISQUALIFICATIONS
Participants will be disqualified for reasons including, but not limited to: not wearing the official bib, altering or exchanging bibs, not respecting start times, failing to complete the full course, unsportsmanlike conduct, competing under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or failing to follow organizational instructions.
ARTICLE 14
AWARDS
Awards will be announced according to the list provided by the Colombian Athletics Federation. Awards for the 21K Open category will be granted only after anti-doping results are confirmed. Award payments are subject to a 20% withholding tax as established by Colombian law.
ARTICLE 15
PARTICIPANTS’ OBLIGATIONS
Participants must be affiliated with a health system, consult a physician before racing, follow organizational instructions, provide accurate information, and assist or report any runner requiring medical attention
ARTICLE 16
BAG STORAGE SERVICE
A bag check service will be available for clothing only. Valuables are not permitted. The Organization is not responsible for loss or theft.
ARTICLE 17
OFFICIATING
Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026” will be officiated according to World Athletics and Colombian Athletics Federation rules.
ARTICLE 18
ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS
All runners participate under these Rules and the provisions of the Organizing Committee.
ARTICLE 19
LIABILITY WAIVER, RELEASE, AND PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
By registering, participants freely and voluntarily declare acceptance of the Liability Waiver and Release for Bogotá Half Marathon 2026 “mmB 2026,” acknowledging all inherent risks, releasing the Organizer and related entities from liability, authorizing the use of images and personal data for promotional purposes, and consenting to the processing of personal data in accordance with Colombian law (Law 1581 of 2012):
Participants acknowledge their rights to access, update, rectify, and request deletion of personal data by contacting Correcaminos de Colombia through the established channels.
